Oil Theft Exposed: Shocking Details Reveal Nigeria’s Crude Oil Corruption

...Questions Arise Over Tompolo and Mathew Tonlagha's Frequent Dispatch of Service Boats to Offshore Loading Points

In a stunning expose, Tokowei Ebimene of Niger Delta People Mandate has pulled back the curtain on the intricate web of oil theft plaguing Nigeria's petroleum sector. His revelations paint a disturbing picture of collusion between high-level officials and politicians, all working in an organized crime concert to siphon off the nation's most valuable resource.

According to Tokowei, the scale of the theft is staggering. "Most vessels used for loading can produce documentation claiming they have allocation," he explained. "But it's a big lie. Don't be deceived. They can use a single allocation to load multiple times with an arrangements with NNPCL (Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited) official."

Tokowei detailed a sophisticated operation involving "steady loading of vessels shuttling to pour offshore," making detection extremely difficult. This illicit activity reportedly occurs across numerous offshore terminals, including Excravos, Farcodos, Pennington, Brass, Bonny, Bonga, Agbami, and other offshore loading points.

Tokowei didn't shy away from naming names. He specifically called out Tompolo aka Government Ekpomupolo and Mathew Tonlagha aka Don Cripple, questioning their frequent dispatching service boats to offshore terminals whenever loading operations is ongoing. This pattern suggests they are involved in colluding with officials within NNPCL and prominent politicians to siphon the nation's oil wealth. Such activities appear to be ongoing at nearly every offshore terminal, he alleged.

The expose casts doubt on the effectiveness and intentions of Tompolo's Tantita Security Services and Maton Engineering company. Tokowei argued that their mandate was limited to protecting pipelines in the creeks, suggesting that any operations in deep waters constituted "illegal and criminality activities."

Perhaps most alarmingly, Tokowei claimed that those vessels they use can carry millions of barrels of crude oil, yet the small vessels Tompolo Tantita Security Services are parading they caught during their operations are merely for propaganda and deceiving Nigerians. The real looting of our oil resources is now being carried out in collaboration with high-level official and politicians, this is how they continue to run the country into ruin.

Everything Tompolo Tantita Security Services has done in the past was just for publicity to deceive the masses. Last time, when it was time to share the pipeline protection jobs among stakeholders, many politicians and influential persons urged the President to allow only Tompolo and his group to handle the distribution because they don’t want their business of illegal crude oil end. They also believed that including other stakeholders would expose the theft and stop it, as not everyone would agree for the country to be run into the ground. This plan to let only Tompolo manage the operations was approved, and in turn, Tompolo became a monster to his own people, beginning to kill them to maintain control.

Tokowei didn't stop there. He drew connections between these alleged illegal activities and Nigeria's declining oil production. "During Obasanjo and Jonathan's time as the Nation's President, production was above 2 million barrels per day. Why did it suddenly nose-dive to 1.3 and 1.4 million when Muhammadu Buhari took over and brought in Mele Kyari?" Tokowei questioned, insinuating that a small group was appropriating nearly half of the nation's oil wealth into their personal pocket.

Mele Kyari, the former Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPCL, came under particular scrutiny. Tokowei portrayed him as a central figure in the alleged scheme, even after the change in administration. "Mele Kyari was retained in Tunibu Admistration, he has to incorporate new set of high-level officials, politicians, and he is doing alot of giving of cash to people to maintain control before he was booted out of the office," Tokowei claimed.

The revelations extend to specific individuals like Mathew Tonlagha, the cripple, is a major player involved in illegal dealings alongside Mele Kyari. The Matthew Tonlagha you see is worse than the devil himself, and it is because of people like him that countries like America take their security and border control very seriously, conducting thorough searches on persons with disabilities. Mathew Tonlagha has played a significant role—100%—in the decline of our oil production. He is part of the group with Mele Kyari that runs NNPCL from Hilton Hotel Abuja. Compared to Tompolo, Mathew Tonlagha is a very wicked person. Tompolo, on the other hand, is just a figurehead—a village fake native doctor who allows himself to be used by his brothers for illegal activities, including the killing of innocent Nigerians.

As these explosive allegations come to light, Tokowei called for immediate action. The President should be aware that Tompolo and his group have caused Nigerians a great deal of pain. They should be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted, and no further pipeline contracts should be awarded to them. The President should ensure that pipeline protection jobs are carried out across all affected states, allowing the major stakeholders to manage their own territories.

This exposé threatens to shake the foundations of Nigeria's oil industry and raises serious questions about the management of the country's most crucial economic sector. As the story develops, all eyes will be on the government's response to these damning allegations.
